No, it is plug-and-play or battery-powered, depending on your venue. We send clear instructions with the phone. Most people have it set up within 5 minutes.
Can we record a custom greeting?
Yes. Voice-note us your greeting via WhatsApp or email an audio file, and we load it onto the phone before couriering it.
Do you deliver nationwide?
Yes. Tracked NZ Post courier to all NZ addresses including rural (allow extra time for rural). For South Island events you will need to book at least 7 days out to allow for courier transit.
How quickly do we get the audio files?

What happens if a guest leaves the phone off the hook?
The phone plays an engaged tone, prompting the next guest to hang up the handset before leaving their message. No messages are lost.
Can we keep the phone longer than the standard hire period?
Yes. Extended hire windows available. Particularly common for memorials (where messages may come in over days) or destination weddings (where the wedding party arrives early). Ask when you book.
Do you have insurance?
Yes. Public liability cover, plus the phones themselves are insured against damage in transit.
