We've DJ'd Christmas parties everywhere from sit-down hotel dinners for 50 to warehouse takeovers for 500. Festive playlists when you want them (yes, we'll play Last Christmas, and yes, we'll cut it if your boss hates it), then crowd-pleasing hits that get every generation on the dancefloor at the same time. Celebrate success without the cringe. Our DJs handle every musical cue an awards night needs. Upbeat walk-up tracks for category winners, seamless transitions between presentation segments, polished background music during dinner, mic volumes for the keynote so nothing peaks or cuts out, and a high-energy after-party set when the trophies are handed out and the formal bit is done.

We've been the DJ on the night for the Bizzies (Aotearoa Business Events Awards) at the Cordis Auckland with Mike McRoberts hosting, the EVES Awards at Mercury Baypark Tauranga, plus awards nights for national membership bodies, dealership networks, sports clubs and franchise groups across the country. We brief from your run sheet, work directly with your AV team if you've got one (or be your AV team if you haven't), and treat your hosts and sponsors like the VIPs they are.

Our regulars rebook us four or five times across the year for these. Once you've worked with the same DJ a few times, the briefing call gets shorter, the music's already dialled in, and you stop having to explain things twice. That's the goal.

How much does a corporate DJ cost in New Zealand?

Corporate DJ packages in NZ typically range from around $900 for a basic 3-hour function up to $5,000+ for a full conference or awards production with LED walls, multiple mics and full lighting design. Where you land depends on a few things:

Hours of cover and event format. Cocktail-and-canapés to full evening run.
Guest count and venue size. Bigger rooms need more speakers and crew.
Production needs. LED walls, multi-mic setups, stage lighting all factor in.
Travel. We're Hamilton-based, so anything within the Hamilton radius is included. Further afield we'll factor in distance, accommodation and crew time, all transparent on the quote.
Season. Christmas party dates from late October to mid-December are the most in-demand and book up first.

Incredible! We used Chris at our wedding a month ago - we had him for the whole shebang. From ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and through to the dance floor Chris was incredible. How much does a corporate DJ cost in NZ?

What are your payment terms?

A 20% non-refundable deposit at booking secures your date, with the balance due 7 days before the event.

Do you have public liability insurance?

Yes. We hold full public liability insurance.

Can you provide an MC for our event?

Yes. We offer professional MC services for awards nights, conferences and product launches, and we work closely with Celebrity Speakers NZ for hosted events.

Can you sign an NDA before we share event details?

Yes. We regularly work under NDAs for product launches, internal corporate events and confidential brand work. Send us your standard NDA and we'll sign it before the brief.

Do you do AV as well as DJ?

Yes. We can supply wireless mics, LED walls, stage lighting, uplighting and a tech operator alongside our DJ services.

Can you match our brand colours in the lighting?

Yes. Our uplighting and stage lighting is colour-customisable. Send us your brand hex codes or Pantones with your brief and we'll match the room to your event design.

How far in advance should we book?

Earlier is always better. Christmas parties tend to book out by August or September, and bigger conferences and awards usually need a few months' lead. That said, we can usually cover most bookings with as little as 1 to 2 weeks' notice, so if you've got a date in mind, send it through and we'll check availability.

Do you travel for corporate events?

Yes. We're Hamilton-based. Travel within a radius around Hamilton is included; further afield we'll factor in travel.

What's your cancellation or postponement policy?

Securing your date requires a non-refundable 20% retainer. Cancellations or postponements need at least 90 days' written notice; less than that and the full contracted fee is payable. If external factors beyond our control prevent the event (government restrictions or public health directives), we'll offer a one-time reallocation of the retainer to a new date within 12 months, subject to availability. Full terms in your proposal.

Can you DJ multiple events for us in the same week or month?

Absolutely. We regularly run multi-site Christmas party runs for nationwide companies and have the team, gear and capacity for multiple events on the same night when needed.

Do you work with event planners and agencies?

Yes, and a lot of our work comes through them. We have standard agency terms, white-label briefings, and reliable communication that keeps the planner in the loop without making them the middleman.

What gear do you use?

Professional speakers, wireless mics and dance floor lighting, sized to your venue and guest count. We can send a full equipment list with your proposal.

How do we book?

Send us your date and venue through the enquiry form, or give us a call. We'll confirm availability, send you a proposal usually within 24 hours, and lock in your date with a 20% deposit.
