What's included when you book with us
If you've booked us for the entire day, we'll arrive early to set up a discreet, fully wireless sound system. No power required. From your guest-arrival music and aisle songs to the signing of the register and your walk-out, we time everything to the second, working alongside your celebrant. Wireless handheld mics so every word is heard nice and clear.
While you're off taking photos, your guests are still in good hands. We keep the atmosphere light and relaxed with a curated cocktail hour playlist tailored to your taste. Great vibes all afternoon to prime your guests for your return.
Once your guests move into the reception space, we continue with an atmosphere to suit. Curated background music throughout dinner. Loud enough to create a mood, quiet enough that nobody has to lean across the table to talk. For speeches, we provide a wireless handheld microphone for your MC and anyone giving a speech.
We're ready to go when you are. Just let your MC cue us and we'll kick off your first dance. We always encourage couples to pick a big song that brings everyone to the dancefloor. That's where we shine. We blend your favourite music with proven party starters to get guests moving and keep them there. FAQ
Wedding DJs in New Zealand typically range from around $800 for a short reception set to $3,000+ for a full-day professional. Our packages start from $949 + GST (Dance Party, dancefloor only), with our most-booked Platinum tier from $1,449 + GST. Additional hours can be added to any package at $175 + GST per hour.
Saturdays from late January to mid-March are the most popular wedding dates in New Zealand and book out 12–18 months in advance. For off-peak Saturdays and weeknights, 6 months is usually plenty. If you're getting married in less than 3 months, message us anyway. We'll always check.

Yes. We offer wedding MC services from $500 + GST as an add-on to any DJ package, or we'll happily support a family member or friend taking on the MC role.
Both. Our Entire Day options include fully wireless ceremony sound, a wireless handheld mic and timed walk-in/walk-out music. Lapel mics for your celebrant are available as an add-on. You can also book a Reception-only version of any package if that's all you need.

Yes. We're Hamilton-based and DJ weddings somewhere new every weekend, Auckland down to Taupō. Travel within a radius around Hamilton is included in our packages; further afield we'll factor in distance and (occasionally) accommodation. Happy to travel for destination weddings, including across the Pacific.
You can choose as much or as little as you like. Every couple gets logged in to our online music planner where you build a must-play list, a do-not-play list, and request specific songs for ceremony, first dance, parent dances and the final song. It's saved to your account, works on any device, and you can keep tweaking it right up to the day. From there, we read the room.
Yes, if they fit your vibe and your do-not-play list. We're happy to be the bad guy if Uncle Bob requests Cotton Eye Joe and you've already told us no.
We carry an enormous library and have mobile internet on the night, so if it exists, we can play it. If it's an obscure family or cultural track, send it through ahead of time and we'll have it cued and ready.
Yes. We hold full public liability insurance.
Yes. Combining a wedding DJ with our photo booth, 360 video booth or audio guestbook is one of our most popular setups. Bundled with a premium package you'll get a better rate than booking the booths standalone.
Yes. We've DJ'd Indian, Pasifika, Māori, Asian and mixed-culture weddings across NZ. Share the playlists, traditions and pronunciation guides with us ahead of time and we'll have it dialled.
Securing your date requires a non-refundable 20% retainer. Cancellations or postponements need at least 90 days' written notice; less than that and the full contracted fee is payable. If external factors beyond our control prevent the event (government restrictions or public health directives), we'll offer a one-time reallocation of the retainer to a new date within 12 months, subject to availability. Full terms in your proposal.
We have a network of trusted DJs across NZ that we work with. In the very rare case we couldn't make it, we'd organise a fully-briefed replacement at no extra cost to you.
